Leafster, the Tomato Hornworm

We spied this giant tomato hornworm on one of our tomato plants the other day. The girls named him "Leaftster." We put him in a container and brought him to Habitat Summer Day Camp, where the girls are spending this week and next. Roger, the resident bugologist, seemed excited to meet Leafster and offered to keep him in protective custody until he pupas, then we can bring him home and wait for him to pop!

Update August 9

Leaftster is all pupa-ed up, still in residence at Habitat.

Our family blog

We've grown a bit tired of keeping track of so much stuff online. The solution? More stuff! So we set up this little website to be the anchor for everything else. Social links, old websites, this & that, it's all here.
